Over the years, we've added children's picture books featuring diversity in families to our home library. Our hope as parents is that between the real-life examples all around us (we are friends with many, many multiracial families, fellow families-by-adoption, etc.), in addition to the many wonderful books, our children understand that families come in many forms: and all of these forms are beautiful!
